Dennis the Menace:
Dennis Berglund, probably more
known as Dennis the Menace now living in Örebro Sweden
started his career somewhere around 1995 while having fun
with a turntable, cassette player and a lousy mixer. Today
more than a decade later he has been running his own label,
worked with several labels, discovering new talents,
released several compilations within the darker soundscapes
but also played some of the larger trance festivals in
europe as well as squat parties, farms and clubs.
Thru all the years Dennis have a quite diverse experience
playing all styles of electronic music and it all turned
into something that could be described as groovy progressive
with lots of melodies and atmospheres and thats where
Synergetic Records came into the picture. Since Dennis motto
was that nothing is really good enough he was always a
sucker for that little extra and when it came to Djing he
realized he wanted to take it a step further, to break
patterns and move into the future.
This is when he teamed up with the Swedish PRO Team of Ecler
Dj Division and got that little extra boost in terms of
cutting edge equipment to be able to evolve his Djing. And
with the evolution he also got more and more into the
progressive soundscapes since it allowed him to do more
manipulation to the music allowing it to keep that "red
line" without getting it too messy. Dennis has been playing
countries like France, Switzerland, Austria, Germany,
Denmark, Finland, Norway, Russia, Belgium, India and in the
UK to name a few, .
