Known for his smooth grooves and alternating styles Greg
Coyle personifies the eclectic sounds of today’s dance
floors. A pioneer of the Progressive Trance/House crossover,
Greg has always been in the forefront of contemporary dance
music. With over 15 years experience, which has seen him
play Live and DJ in all 4 corners of the world, from Brazil
to Russia, Australia to Mexico, playing to intimate crowds
of 500 or to mega 20,000 + dance floors. Greg is one of the
few to have played the infamous Vuuv festival 6 times, both
Main stage and the alternative stage, both as a DJ and Live.
He has also been lucky enough to play in such places as The
rainforest of Byron Bay Australia, The Mountains outside of
Tokyo, The Outback of Melbourne, On the cliffs of Coramandel
New Zealand, Next to the Kremlin Moscow, On the beach of the
Greek Island Samothraki, By the Red Sea Israel and many more
clubs and festivals all over the globe.
On the production side Greg has had over 50 released tracks,
the most prominent being with production partner Sebastian
Krueger under the guise Krueger and Coyle. Famous for the
‘Ah Shiva’ track, or correctly named “The Witness”, the
Krueger and Coyle style broke boundaries early on within the
Progressive Trance and house scenes, influencing many of the
top acts you see around today. Their 2005 Album ‘Randy
Expander’ became a massive hit for them and The Witness
landed on the front cover mount CD of Mixmag as one of the
top tunes of the year.
All these tracks and more can be found on Greg’s newest
label “Radio with Pictures’. This label contextualizes the
eclectic taste and feelings that Greg has for dance music,
releasing a varied plethora of quality sound. Tech Funk/Tech
House of XV Kilist & Rocco, House rhythms of Anfunk,
Progressive house of Chris Cargo and also the changeable
styles of Greg himself (Tech house, Progressive house,
Electronica, Downbeat and Breakbeat).
