Ondrej:
Ondrej Kolacek was born in the Czech Republic in 1978. When he was three the family relocated to Switzerland. When this small neutral country was swept up in the first techno-wave in 90s Ondrej was a regular visitor to the raves of the time. Around 1994 he began buying records and took his first steps at mixing. Soon he got the first bookings with a wide range of organizers in Switzerland.
Among the highlights of Ondrej's many gigs, the three sets at the now legendary ZOOM-Festival in 2003/04/06, which were attended by a few thousand people, are most memorable. His musical spectrum is very broad, it ranges from minimal to progressive-house, all the way to thumping beats. Ondrej has already made name for himself with his excellent and at the same time sensitive warm-up sets.
As well as working at his music, Ondrej also does graphic and in web-design. Under the company name of Triphaseproject ( www.triphaseproject.ch ) he also designs websites and flyers for the partyscene. In 2005, together with his friend Stefan Keller, he founded the music label KumQuat Tunes. This innovative project, which foucses on high-quality electronic music, is one more step on Ondrej's path, always in search of greater insight and even better understanding of himself and the music he loves.
