Zombi:
I started this journey back then
into Domo crew which been one of first promoters and labels
to bring progressive sound to Israel and we make some events
and releases, then it was VP Rec which I joined to make
their (and mine) first CD compilation named “Inspirazzia”
which been highly acclaimed by international public and
brought me my first international gigs. Year was 2004 and
together with CD and abroad shows I got my Tel Aviv first
serious club recognition when I turned to “Zamir” club
resident and producer of “UK Groove Floor” which was one of
first stages to give progressive proper location.
In 2005 my second CD “Subway Disco Stories” came out and I
progressed to “Lemon” club residency, as well produced my
first independence party where I mixed progressive and
techno on 2 floors with abroad guest today very well known
as Beckers.
In 2006 I started with partner weekly Thursday event at
“Maxim” club. This parties brought new standard to Tel Avivs
night life scene and we kept this events till November 2008
– 3 and half years of nonstop Thursday party making,
experience that not much had ever. For our events at “Maxim”
I booked my favourites DJs as D-Nox, Criss Source, Beckers,
Kasey Taylor, Anti, Oliver Moldan, Pena, Tim Healey and many
more… In same year I also had my first production coming
out, on Iboga.
2007 was just perfect, I released 2 CD compilations on
different labels (Blue Tunes and Plusquam) and my Plusquam
compilation “On the decks: with DJ Zombi” was more than
month top seller at biggest net shop for this kind of music
– Psyshop. My international career finally took off on more
serious level and I visited 12 different countries on same
year which was truly a magic experience for me, maked me
stronger, smarter and much more to the point.
2008 just too busy, keeping making Progressive Thursdays
night @ Maxim Club, playing every venue in Tel Aviv and
around the country, summer festivals in Europe, Latin
America tours and finally some serious music writing with
Astronivo guys with which we success to sign our music to
labels such Vapour, Sprout, Tribal Vision and Blue Tunes and
been remixed by Beckers, King Roc, Miki Litvak & Ido Ophir.
In November 2008 we decided to stop our “Progressive
Thursdays @ Maxim Club” and this because we badly need
vacation and as well I personaly prefer to concentrate on
what I do best – Music.
In summer 2009 WEEKEND HEROES project was born, its me and
Felix Nagorsky, watch out for phat tunes and meanwhile check
